Too Much?

I came across this image I think on Design Milk or Design Sponge. I absoultly love everything lucite, execpt I'm beginning to think that this might be alittle much:

I'm exactally sure why this freaks me out but it does. There are just some things that shouldn't be messed with...like wooden cribs.
