I would like to take a moment to talk about Spoonflower. I think they are such a great company, they allow people to design their own fabrics and buy them for a very low price, starting at just $18.00 a yard. They also offer different types of fabric as well. Best of all, at least for me, the fabric is all printed in Durham, North Carolina, just a few miles from us. They also offer one fabric that is completly made in The United States.

Pillows with Personality ... and for a great cause!

Lisa Goldstein is one of our very favorite local Chapel Hill talents.  She creates whimsical hand-appliqued pillows with motifs ranging from this handsome owl to cheery flowers and racing cars.  Each one is individual and guaranteed to bring a smile to your day.

The UNC Beacon Program is hosting their annual silent-no-more-auction tonight at The Siena Hotel from 5:30 - 8:00 pm.  Lisa has generously donated one of her unique pillow creations for the silent auction at this event.  Please help support this worthwhile cause!

Just in time to fulfill those last few items on your Christmas list, The Virginia Gail Collection is excited to offer the paper artistry of Kimberly Clark Riddell. Kimberly, a Chapel Hill native, received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from East Carolina University. When not in front of the computer working as a Graphic Designer, Kimberly expresses her creative side through making handmade journals, books, bookmarks, note cards, boxes, and Christmas ornaments.
